How this edition handles local choices, optional submissions and anti-abuse checks. Last revised September 19, 2026.
No account required
The directory does not require a login. Saved apps, comparison choices and checklist ticks are stored in localStorage in your browser. Clearing site data removes them. They do not sync to another browser or device. The comparison URL can contain public app slugs; it does not include an account identifier.
This build contains no advertising pixels or general analytics SDK. The hosting provider still processes technical information needed to serve and secure requests, including IP addresses. Browser or provider-level logging is separate from the local features described here.
Optional submissions
When online submissions are configured, the form sends an app or page name, a public source URL, a message and an optional reply email to the site’s Cloudflare Worker. A receipt is returned only after storage succeeds. Submissions are stored in a private database for editorial follow-up, not automatically published.
The included server configuration deletes submission records older than 90 days when its scheduled cleanup is enabled. A temporary anti-abuse counter uses a keyed hash of the request IP and an hourly bucket; cleanup removes counters older than two hours. The raw IP is not written to the submission table. Technical request processing by Cloudflare remains subject to its own policies.
Anti-abuse verification
Online submissions use Cloudflare Turnstile only when the site operator has configured it. That verification can process browser and network information to distinguish abusive traffic. It loads on the submission page rather than on every directory page. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
External destinations and 3D
App Store and developer links open external sites with their own policies. The model viewer loads a local USDZ file on request. Browser or device Quick Look may open that asset in system software. No camera permission is requested by the website itself.
Control your data
. This action does not delete a report already submitted to the server.
To request deletion of an online report, use contact and corrections and provide its receipt reference. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in a submission.
